VALIFTER is the new brand born from the thirty-year experience and entrepreneurial vision of FEDA S.r.l.
Thanks to the use of innovative technologies and the analysis of high-performance materials, VALIFTER manufactures state-of-the-art devices for lifting operations on all types of manholes. Specific geometries and designs make VALIFTER manhole opening devices compact, lightweight, and easy to transport, even on vehicles with limited payload capacity. Our roots and future Perspective

The professional experience gained in the oil industry during the 1970s led Ferruccio Montalbetti to personally address the difficulties and risks associated with technical operations on manhole covers. In 1991, the entrepreneur founded FEDA, focusing the company’s production on equipment for lifting manhole covers.

1970

Ferruccio Montalbetti, an entrepreneur born and raised in Libya, faces the risks and challenges associated with the handling of manhole covers.

1991

Ferruccio Montalbetti’s focus on worker safety and his professional background leads him to develop a solution for the safe lifting of manhole covers. This is how FEDA was born, a company specialized in the design and production of lifting equipment.

2005

After years dedicated to creating lifting systems, a new challenge begins: FEDA’s cemetery equipment.

2012

Valerio Cicciola, the founder’s grandson, who inherited the values, dedication and mindset, becomes the sole administrator of the company.

2022

In celebration of 30 years of activity, the company launched VALIFTER, the premium line dedicated to manhole cover handling, and KOIME, fully focused on the development and production of cemetery devices.
